Elite Program
This is a goal oriented program that will help athletes compete on the highest level. The majority of these athletes become not only starters, but impact players within months. This is a fun, highly competitive program. These athletes are some of the best in southern California. There is extensive film study and a collegiate approach to the training.

The Elite Program is built on seven pillars. We feel these pillars will help the athlete reach their goals and contribute to a prosperous life in whatever arena they may find themselves.

The 7 Pillars:
Academics
Character Development
Sports Psychology
Nutrition
Strength
Speed and Agility
Sport Specific
Athletes work to attain five levels of completion. These are signified by gold chevrons that can be displayed under the Zion Athletic emblem. Upon completion of the fifth and final stripe the athlete will be rewarded with a contribution to his or her scholarship fund. If the athlete does not have a fund, one will be set up for him or her. The five levels are SACRIFICE, DESIRE, FOCUS, DEDICATION, COMMITMENT. Requirements to achieve each level will be made clear to the athlete by their instructors. Stripes will be awarded by the Athletic Director petitioning to the Board of Directors on behalf of the athlete.

Check out the article on Temperance in this weeks Character Development section." To be successful we must closely guard and monitor the three T’s. Our Thoughts, our Temper, and our Tongue. With these three in check we will have few regrets."

Speed and Agility will be run in the mornings starting Dec.1st .

We would like  thank everyone  who contributed to a great football season.
